Nights in Duke's Club
21.08.2007...I will like to recommender to you and all next visitors of our island a very nice night meeting place in which you will find another kind of art. In "Duke's Club" you will be enjoy with a special musical live spectacle during the whole week except Monday. Duke's Club... and in reality at the moment is the in-meeting-point.... starts every night at 10:30 p.m...

How I have some good relations to some of you, which know my store "T-mas" in Gran Canaria, I will like to recommender to you and all next visitors of our island a very nice night meeting place in which you will find another kind of art. In "Duke's Club" you will be enjoy with a special musical live spectacle during the whole week except Monday. Duke's Club... and in reality at the moment is the in-meeting-point.... starts every night at 10:30 p.m.
The show starts daily at 11 p. m. with Carlos Nebot, which don't miss to listen.
He understands to play all the differed musical styles and also he sings one of the versions of Carusso and the one of Joe Cocker. His sweet voice is absolutely fantastic and delights everybody.
Later, during the week they show videos of big concerts and when arrives Wednesday and Saturday night it's time for the "Sultan of Reggae": Saulo Douglas. I have no words to describe this funny and happy artist. Some times he just stays in Canary and he dedicates with all his respect in his songs and his shows the king of Reggae Bob Marley. You have to see and listen it.
During the weekends the musical spectacle and intention grows up, when the "House band" arrives. The head of Duke's, Manolo Guerra, a splendid guitarist and also now part of the band "Supermax" known in international ambient or "La Causa" in the national music scene, always accompanied by professional musicians to present a incredible show.
With all this we also have Tere, she knows to animate everybody.
"Duke's Club" is the perfect place to meet your friends in a very nice atmosphere to chat, to see a fantastic show, to have some cups and find new relations. The kind service team takes care that you never stays without the right dose of your favorite cup.
In the hall you find a special smoking zone with billiard and dart, the rest of the Duke's is smoke free. I think, now you know, the music is " a la carte" and if you want and if you have confidence, sing a song together with the band (but not do it so bad! :)).
"Duke's" you find downstairs of the Hotel Catarina, Playa del Inglés, Avenida de Tirajana, 1.
