Eva Traumann - The Mayan Harmonic Module (Pintadera)
Characteristics
The well-known Maya calendar announces a meaningful renewal, a dramatic change around approximately the 21st of December 2012.
The most important events and the human race evolution are represented in that part of the calendar which is called “Tzolkin”.
The image presented and painted by Eva Traumann in www.Temasarte.com , it is also called “The Big Wheels of Time”. In the middle you can find our galaxy symbol, “The Cosmic Butterfly” icon that is also known as “Hunab Ku”.
The outside circle on “The Maya Harmonic Module” contains 20 different signs; they are called “The 20 Stamps” or the 20 sun energies.
The next circle symbolizes “The 13 moon signs”, representing the inspiration and communication in the renewal of each sequence on the action and reunion with sun energies.
The following third circle covers the 8 signs of the traditional Chinese I-Ching.
“The Maya Harmonic Module” gathers South-America and Asia (Tibet/ China – Mexico/ Peru) and as a result it could be seen like a cosmic extension on the Yin/Yang concept.
José Argüelles, a Mexican-American author, artist, and educator is the person who explains in
His book, “The Mayan Factor”, how he found out that the ancient Chinese culture knows correlating dates and circumstances. The Yin/Yang is equivalent to Hunab Ku, the Cosmic Butterfly, which enters in the galactic dimension.
He designed the “Big Wheel of Time” icon, or “Maya Mandala” which is famous since a long time ago.
The artist Eva Traumann painted and designed the sign following her own particular technique by adding in each of the 4 corners the Gods which represent the 4 elements and the 4 directions. The 4 corners make up a cross whose point of intersection represents “The Cosmic Butterfly”.
Technique: In the same way that “Canary Pintaderas”, Eva uses her special self -explored technique in order to create “The Maya Harmonic Module”. The sign contains now pictorial details and a more artistic colouring. This makes it easier to get inspired by the meaning in order to enjoy the contemplation.
We suggest Aluminium Dibond for a perfect presentation of the Maya Calendar, giving as a result an elegance and sophistication sense.
Eva Traumann paintings fit perfectly in offices, entrance halls, receptions, lounge areas, bars and restaurants, hotels and receptions, display cabinets and vitrines.
